“Three things will last forever: faith, hope, and love-and the greatest of these is love.”Lent is a 40 day period of reflection , prayer and almsgiving.It is the season to observe and commemorate the passion ,death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
This year ,Lent begins on February 17 2021-also known as ash wednesday and it ends three days before easter Sunday.Due to the spread of the virus it is not held in the usual way.
Lent is the time where we can all show each others kindness and hospitability.It is an opportunity to make others happy and to show love we can .Lent also the time to get rid of our habits that leads us to be lazy and sinful.
We must accept the fact that the corona virus has spread around the world.But us Christians,this will not be a hindrance,but an opportunity to serve him ,to make others happy and to change ourselves and to prepare with more dedication for the mystery of God's infinite love in his Son.
